Upload from Lightroom
Shayna Image
hmmmm, yes. TBH, I do my image selection with the client in LR. I am able to compare images side-to-side with them, zooming in and out. I am able to use all the different rating, flagging, and color labeling, so that I can help them narrow it down and leave secret notes to myself. THEN I export them and upload them to Swift.
Which is whyI just added feedback that I wish we could schedule an appointment in "opportunities" without uploading images first.
But a plug-in that allows communication between the platforms is another helpful approach.

Is there a plug-in for Lightroom now?

Image List Download
Kollene H Carlsson
The ability to download the YES images is awesome, however Lightroom will not recognize the file names the way they are listed. Is there a way to have the filenames listed without the .jpg separated by , ?
(i.e. Sample_0001, Sample_0012, Sample_0023, etc.)
This way we can filter them out in Lightroom with Library Filter, Filename, Contains.
Thank you!

I totally agree with Brian's dream plan below, but would be very happy with a LR export. The sooner the better! :)

This is a must. Stream lining work flow to save time. Upload from Lightroom collection and (sync yes and no images as flagged an un flagged.) that last part is wishful thinking. It's probably fairly complicated.

Brian Derenski: So rather than an Export plugin for Lightroom, you'd want a two-way connection, so what you do in Swift Galleries is sent back into Lightroom.
My dream plugin would do this, if we could pull it off:
- Select a folder of images in Lightroom, export them as a new album in Swift Galleries
- Yes and No images are marked accordingly in Swift Galleries and that metadata is sent back to Lightroom. If you set up smart folders in Lightroom based off of that tag, that would be super-sexy. You could just pop open Lightroom, let it sync, then have everything organized for you already.
- When an order gets placed, we create a folder in Lightroom for each gallery, then send over the crop data so you have the exact crop, set aside by gallery, all in one place, automatically, within Lightroom.
I have
no
idea how much of this is even possible. I'm just the guy who dreams up cool stuff, then asks Cyrus if it's even possible. What would everyone else think about something like this? Anything else you'd like to see?

Chris Scott, Co-Founder: That about sums up my wish list. I'll settle for just being able to upload to LR for now but, yeah this would be the sexy as hell way of integration. Then you wouldn't need the download link from SG, all meta data would sync back to LR. Im a realist though.. its a fairly complicated process and you would be getting in bed with Adobe for a core feature. Not ideal but this would put you head and shoulders over the competition.
