I would actually use the sale feature if you integrated square. Stripe takes FOREVER to get paid, and I use square for everything else.

I would love this! Stripe takes weeks to pay me, whereas Square deposits the money the next day! Yes!!!

Can you unpack this for me a little, Terry Davis? What would the perfect square integration look like for you? Walk me through how you'd want to use it.
Terry Davis
Chris Scott, Co-Founder: Sure I will do may best. I used to be a CSS1/2 and HTML4 programmer so not sure about the use of APIs and most modern day programming possibilities. With that said before I went to answer your question (unpack) I did a quick search and found where one could use Square's APIs to create a checkout if you will on your existing platform. Here is a link to their developers site that might help explain that side of things. https://squareup.com/developers
(unpacking) I thought it would be nice if square could get setup on SG like the stripe integration. If one already had a square account they could (say, flip a switch and) enable the square checkout. So when we go through the IPS process at the end we could (like with stripe) just check out and it would process through our own square account.
Now back to programming, just from what I seen on their developer site, and with my lack of knowledge this might be an easy solution. Then again it might be more of a headache than anything.

Terry Davis: ah, got it! I didn't realize they had a full-fledged online processing API now. We'll take a look.
Curious, what's the benefit of Square vs Stripe?
Terry Davis
Chris Scott, Co-Founder: because I already have multiple accounts attached to my bank. Happy with square and don't really want to add another account to my bank. :)

Terry Davis: Fair enough, just didn't know if there was something that Square was doing that made them stand out against Stripe. Other than having physical swipe capabilities, as well (which, to be fair, is a pretty good distinction).
