Definitely with you all on this one, glad to see it's getting so much love over here. Just curious as I think through some possible solutions for this, which would you prefer:
- Automatically snap products to an invisible grid. Would be easy for you, but might restrict precise positioning.
- Add some new buttons for aligning top/center/bottom/left/right, where you'd have to select multiple products, then choose how you'd like to align them (similar to Photoshop's approach).
Lemme know which you'd prefer. I can't promise we'll go that route, depending on the complexity of each approach, but this definitely informs our conversations about possible solutions!

Chris Scott, Co-Founder: I would love an implementation as close to Photoshop's align tool as possible. This distribute function, especially. (Say I have 3 5x7s, I could select all three and click on the distribute by center button for equal spacing between.)

Chris Scott, Co-Founder: I'm going to play devils advocate and vote for option 1. I really like the speed of working with smart guides. Bonus points for showing me the measurements between frames as I move them around. If you've seen UI design software like Sketch, they do it really well.

Mike Thomas: Yes measurement in between with alignment would be the best also if the view with the measurement can be saved or emailed. I want to give the measurements to my client when when they pick up their products.
